Media Players
Media players are Micro PCs that sit behind your screen and play signage content through our app. They update in real-time through the internet. Simply plug in and play. We also have Windows and Live TV supported players.

Commercial digital signage displays
High-performance, commercial-grade displays are designed to keep your content looking great 24 hours a day 7 days a week. From 32″ to 98″, find a screen to meet your project needs.

High-brightness displays for window or external use
High-brightness window screens increase content visibility making it easier to see what’s on your screen. They are more effective than traditional screens in direct sunlight or strong ambient light.

Touch screen displays & freestanding kiosks
Our digital signage software supports touch screens, tablets, and freestanding digital kiosks. Both touch and non-touch kiosks are available in Dual OS at both 50″ and 55″.

Digital signage hardware requirements
Digital signage hardware refers to the physical equipment needed to display digital signage content.
A complete digital signage solution requires two hardware components: a screen and a media player, and one compatible digital signage software component. In some cases, these are also combined in a ‘signage display’ called ‘system on chip (SoC)’, but these SoC displays come at a much higher price point and can struggle to display more advanced content.

Choosing the right screen
The best screen solution will depend on your individual project requirements. Each screen available on the market is better suited to some environments than others.
When it comes to the screens, any display with an HDMI port can be transformed into a digital sign through a media player. If you are looking to save money, using an existing TV can be a great way to cut costs.
It is important to note that in deployments with high exposure to sunlight, for instance, a south-facing window, a high bright display would be required for optimum results. While these screens come at a higher cost than living room TVs, they ensure your content stays visible no matter the environment.

Choosing the right media player
Digital signage hardware relies on media players to deliver engaging and dynamic content. However, choosing the right media player can be a challenge. In-built media players (System on Chip screens) can quickly become outdated or underpowered over time, leading to poor performance and frustrating user experiences.
That’s why we recommend using external media players. TrouDigital media players are powerful, small-footprint, plug-and-play Android Micro PCs. While you’re welcome to source your own media player, our Android media players start at just £185+VAT and come with a 3-year warranty. This ensures that your project is protected, and any faults will be quickly resolved by our team.
TrouDigital media players come with remote support software. This allows our team to remotely connect to your screen and maximise screen uptimes, providing you with peace of mind and exceptional support.
