Digital Signage Players
Also known as media players, these are Micro PCs that sit behind your screen and play signage content through our app. They update in real-time through the internet. Simply plug in and play. We have Android, Windows and Live TV supported players.
Commercial digital signage displays
High-performance, commercial-grade displays are designed to keep your content looking great 24 hours a day 7 days a week. From 32″ to 98″, find a screen to meet your project needs.

What hardware is needed for digital signage?
A complete digital signage solution requires two hardware components: a screen and a media player, and one compatible digital signage software component. In some cases, these are also combined in a ‘signage display’ called ‘system on chip (SoC)’, but these SoC displays come at a much higher price point and can struggle to display more advanced content.
Buyers’ Guide To Digital Signage Players & Screens
See our advice on choosing the right hardware for your digital signage requirements below!
How do you choose the right digital signage player?
Digital signage hardware relies on media players to deliver engaging and dynamic content. However, choosing the right digital signage player can be a challenge. This will ultimately depend on your content requirements. For example, what kind of content are you looking to display, and will it be displayed in real-time? How many screens are you looking to power? How often will the content play?
In-built digital signage players (System on Chip screens) can quickly become outdated or underpowered over time, leading to poor performance and frustrating user experiences. That’s why we recommend using external digital signage media players. TrouDigital media players are powerful, small-footprint, plug-and-play Android Micro PCs. These devices support 24/7 content playback at a high-resolution and store more chached content than other consumer-grade devices. Our Android media players start at just £185+VAT and come with a 3-year warranty. This ensures that your project is protected, and any faults will be quickly resolved by our team.
You are welcome to source your own media player, if compatible with your screens. We also have other players to suit all projects so talk to our team to find out more. One main benefit of TrouDigital digital signage players is remote support software. This allows our team to remotely connect to your screen and maximise screen uptimes, providing you with peace of mind and exceptional support.
How do you choose the right screen?
The best screen solution will depend on your individual project requirements. Each screen available on the market is better suited to some environments than others.
When it comes to the screens, any display with an HDMI port can be transformed into a digital sign through a media player. If you are looking to save money, using an existing TV can be a great way to cut costs.
It is important to note that in deployments with high exposure to sunlight, for instance, a south-facing window, a high bright display would be required for optimum results. While these screens come at a higher cost than living room TVs, they ensure your content stays visible no matter the environment.
