An important shift in 2019 is taking place in the accounting industry, with the government pushing for every business to Make Tax Digital (MTD). This fundamental change has meant that tax administration must be done through digital software, shifting away from using Microsoft Excel or book keeping. Despite being a conservative industry, the governmental changes have meant that typically conservative accounting firms are moving to go digital. Recognising this, Accord Accountants chose to go digital, staying ahead of their market whilst still providing a personable service.

After receiving a demonstration of the software, Accord Accountant’s Senior Partner, Chas Milner, decided to proceed for a street facing high-brightness digital signage display and an internal digital signage display for Accord’s meeting room.
The street-facing digital screen is used to display Accord’s latest promotions to passersby and potential customers, alongside their social media and countdowns to Accord’s numerous charitable events.
The internal screen in Accord’s meeting room is used to carry out presentations to current and prospective clients that come into the branch. As well as this, the screen serves as a great tool to carry out training for both staff members and customers.
