The Problem

Before TrouDigital, this UK nursery provider was facing two core challenges around disconnected internal communications.

Staff worked varied shifts and spent most of their day in one room, making it hard to guarantee that updates from Head Office were being seen. As the nurseries are located nationwide, there was no simple way to ensure teams received key messages such as policy changes, training updates, and company news.

The group needed a clear, visible way to share important information without relying on inboxes or printed notices.

Any new solution needed to be simple to use, easy to manage centrally and scalable across hundreds of nursery settings. The team wanted confidence that updates could be scheduled in advance and pushed remotely from Head Office without relying on local staff.

The Impact

TrouDigital delivered 300+ digital staff boards to all of the nurseries and the Head
Office in under two months.

The screens and software supported the need for a mix of content, including policy documents, training updates and company news. Touchscreen functionality was important, and implemented at every single site. Staff needed to be able to browse
information in their own time, without logging in or using personal devices.

The project began with a local pilot in Southampton rapidly scaled nationwide, giving every setting a centrally managed screen for internal communication.
