The Initial Goals.
In 2018, the communications team at Easy Surrey Hospital enlisted the help of TrouDigital to implement a new system to manage their 35 patient information screens.
Initial Goals:
Implement a system that would allow for content to be targeted to individual departments.
Increase the up-time of their existing displays.
Allow for screens to be updated quickly to support with emergency comms.
The Digital Transformation.
To achieve Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust’s vision of an enhanced digital patient communication system, TrouDigital implemented the following:
Replaced their existing hardware to commercial-grade Android Media Players.
Pre-installed TeamViewer remote support software to all the TrouDigital support team to deliver effective off-site support.
Enhanced content delivery with full integration of TrouDigital’s Content-Management-System.
Fully trained the comms team on how to update screens quickly by using ‘screen groups’.
